***Official*** Australian Domestic Season 2010/11

I consider Khawaja more of a chance of batting three for Australia in the long term than Hughes though, given Hughes will probably take the place of one of the incumbents when they retire or get injured.
Reckon Katich would have batted 3 or 5 tbh - he's the least fussed about where he bats than the other blokes, plus he just needs time in the middle more than having to face the new ball. For the balance of the side he's the best equiped not to open, and think they spoke about him batting in the middle order if Hughes/Jaques/Watson/Katich were to ever play together when Watson signed last year.

Harris is always at the batsman.

I think he is a bowler who has real smarts about him (unlike Johnson who doesn’t seem to actually know much about bowling, despite being a good bowler).

Rhino's good at the Gabba too.
Hold the phone, George has all 3 against England. On an overcast day, of course.

Good to see so many quicks putting their hands up right now, though.

Oh FFS, I swap away for 5 seconds to check the England game and I miss the last wicket. What happened?

agree, over the years his technique has gotten worse it seems, it was this ugly back in the early 2000's. His defensive technique is as bad as White's. Cant argue about averaging 50 odd, but he has been found out quite a lot in domestic cricket, and has pounded bowlers on roads.
So he should do alright in international cricket then, given that we have only got roads as international pitches these days.
Also would like to add that, eventhough I really like Rhino, I heard that the pitch they are playing on over in Horbat has green stumps of grass growing on it. So such an effort should be seen keeping that in prespective, having said that even without this performance would like to see Harris playing ahead of Bollinger at the Gabba.
P.S.- Pretty disappointed to see a young spinner like Boyce getting picked and then not even getting used in the game, pretty much the story of every Australian spinner in recent years, think they just seem to be there in the team to make up the numbers in order to please CA.

Haha from what I saw it looked as if they just picked a random section of the field in the middle somewhere and mowed it a bit.

To be fair, yesterday had a lot of rain breaks, and on a green track it allowed the quicks to have a rest and then come out and bowl again. Having Hopes in the team allows that flexibility to be used as well, and use him as a partnership breaker. Not fun only getting the ball once the batsmen are in though.

Hauritz is poo...

Gotta love the selection policy: "He guys you can perform as **** as you want before the Ashes and you'll still get picked". Ingenious.

Who's in charge of the cameras there? First I thought they'd forgotten to swap but now I see they're just doing it backwards.

EDIT: Ah better.
