DIRK-NANNES

U19 Vice-Captain
What's up with Canterbury? Why did that other guy get subbed for Logan van Beek?
It's the guys coming back from the Hong Kong Sixes. There's deets in the notes.
NMcCullum gets to inherit Butler's crappy figures

Code:
SB Styris replaced BE Scott from the start of Day 2.
The bowling figures attributed to Styris in the Otago 1st innings were bowled by Scott
NL McCullum replaced IG Butler after lunch on Day 2.
Butlers bowling figures were 9-0-48-0 and he bowled 5 no balls
---
DR Tuffey replaced C Munro at the tea break on day 1
C Munro's bowling figures of 5-0-23-0 have been added to D Tuffey's figures
L van Beek replaced W Lonsdale from the commencement of day two
BTW, Nicol
Should be next in line for the top 3 revolving door...

Athlai

Not Terrible
It will just be them having to update the database I think. More annoying for the online score keepers than anyone.

Blakey

International 12th Man
How was he injured? By a fearsome blow to the forearm from a Wheeler missile? Or perhaps not? Fiver for for Goodyear.

:laugh::ph34r:

Nah, fair play to the young fella. He looked like a rather decent left armer in the world cup earlier this year he was just lacking that extra yard of pace for when the ball stopped swinging.

Must be swinging like a mofo if that's the case - the kid finishes with 6-60 off 23 overs.

Good stuff from Wheeler, picking up 4 experienced Wellington batsmen and a couple of tailenders. CD already one down, doesn't sound like a typical Napier pitch.

Wow, this really isn't a typical Napier pitch. CD 55/5. Got a feeling that Kruger might hurt us though.

Auckland vs Canterbury is an interesting one. Canterbury hold the advantage but I would say Canterbury don't have the firepower to bowl Auckland out twice on a flat wicket. But then they just reduced them to 4/29 before the lower middle order realised the pitch is flat and Canterbury have the worst attack in the country.

George Worker is still terrible I see, how has this guy played first class cricket for so long?
