Whatever happened to that most praiseworthy inititiative where the international players, the week before the First Test, went back and played club cricket?

And does anybody know the last time Ricky Ponting played cricket for his club (one of my bosses just asked me this question quite bizarrely).

Haddin's played a couple club
games I think. Doubt Ponting has in a long time.

It was generally the first week of the season, and it only happened once or twice. Just how the scheduling was working out.

My mistake, was thinking of Love's 200 when i was typing! Plus 3 hours sleep last few nights, 2 little kids sick all night, i'm tired as.

Got some more gems to come, Lehmann's 255, Blewett 260*, Hayden stuff- stacks of shield Haydos tons. Early Hodge stuff too. Got a great Bevan ton vs South Africa in a tour match. Bucketloads i'm going to upload.

Very harsh to blame players for not turning up to play for their state teams. They are virtually playing international cricket, through the year, so can't see how they can, make time to play FC cricket.
Though, gotta admit, looking forward to the international players playing in the SS. Very keen to see, how some of the Australian prospects, stack up against established cricketers.
Anyone thinks that, the performance in these games, could influence, the Australian squad for the Ashes?

I really hope he has a watershed moment in one of these matches which gets his **** sorted with the pull shot. He's never going to shelve it, so he needs to get out of the post-Roach mindset which has hampered his execution of it.

google "rip youtube" mate, there's plenty of sites around which can rip and hence let you download youtube movies.
