Was brilliant, but bowling on a flat and slow Ahedebad track and taking 5 wickets in less than 2 sessions is better for mine.

Happy for others to disagree, but having seen them both I think this was better. Obviously as an Indian fan I may be biased towards an effort that cleaned up my team's top order.
I agree, this has to rank right up there with steyn's magic against india and it's certainly better than Johnson's.

As much as I'd love the Kiwis to finish this off, I just don't see it. Something will get in the way - whether it's Laxman getting into one of his "I'm not getting out today" moods, Harbhajan hitting a helicopter shot filled 50 (pointless stat: I was there when he made his FC high score), or, and I fear this is most likely, NZ ending up 4/20 and bottling it.

It's a question of having the belief to keep their feet on Indian throats - and I'm not sure they've got it.

I would love to be wrong.

Meanwhile.... in Dropkins-watch....

Runs scored: 14
Series runs required for Athlai to be right: 100
Current average: 14
Current first-chance average: 7 :-O
Probable remaining innings: 4 or 5
Other relevant facts and figures: Has dropped two catches

Conclusion: Honestly Athlai, you should give up now. Droppy needs to lift his batting average for the rest of the series to the Tendulkar-like heights (for him) of 17.2. And that's if he gets a bat tomorrow - if not he'll need to Bradman it at 21.5. I'd better go look for that new avatar

Oh Flem, if you try that hard to unjinx us you know its just going to backfire like a rubber band to the balls. Just ask all the Indian fans who posted saying how they were going to get smashed.

I honestly believe it. Barring Bond in that Pakistan test and England at Hamilton, whenever we've gotten into good positions we've found a way to lose.

This match is far from over even if India add no runs to their total tomorrow.

Didn't see that one coming. Is SS some kind of genius?

Only one logical conclusion:

Bangladesh > New Zealand > India > Australia
