Fat top edge. Probably not there for the pull too, was a fair way outside off. Very similar to the Clarke dismissal in fact although obviously the catch was in a totally different place. Both shots smacked of wanting to get a move on at any cost.Did Ponting get a top edge while pulling or hole out to deep square leg? If it's the latter, it smacks of pigheadedness IMO. Should just put it away for a while.
Yeh our bowlers (mainly Johnson and Siddle) really need to learn from him.Malinga was amazingly good as well, had everyone in all sorts with his slower ball and he just seemed to be turning out a production line of yorkers.
Yeah, I was probably a bit harsh on him there considering it's an ODI and run-rate is important.I want to know just how representative it is though. Obviosly dailytelegraph commenters are just scraping the barrel and probably think Symonds's average is six thousand and Clarke's two, but just how stupid can the general public at large be? Some of you living in Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane and probably knowing more cricket fans, would have more of an idea.

I'm looking forward to the effigy burning that comes next. It's a fairly bull**** article mate. Unfortunately it seems representative.
Yes, Perera got it big on himDid Ponting get a top edge while pulling or hole out to deep square leg? If it's the latter, it smacks of pigheadedness IMO. Should just put it away for a while.
Yes , long term knee injury which was contracted playing for non other than IPL. Before that IPL injury he kept hitting high 130s with regularity. Lost about 5 - 8ks after that.Is Mathews carrying an injury? Suprised that we've not seen him bowl yet.
He'll not want to. But better to get the back up also in shape IMO.Why would Murali want to rest?
