People tend to forget that Steyn in ODI isn't great(still good) like he is in tests. His extra pace may backfire on this track.Steyn vs Pak batting could get hilarious.
oh wait till you watch him bowl to Farhat and co.People tend to forget that Steyn in ODI isn't great(still good) like he is in tests. His extra pace may backfire on this track.
Lol..... so true....he will make this pitch look like a minefield once the pak batting is on.......oh wait till you watch him bowl to Farhat and co.
To me seems like a better prospect ATM then Gul for sure....also with the bat..aggressive and pacy....nah you will eat your words some day.
thoughts on Wahab?
ofcourse not an Aamer but does seem to have something about him could be a useful backup if Aamer-Asif get back.
Nah, i don't think there was enough evidence against him for any thing....he is fine...Don't want to sidetrack the thread too much but how the hell did Wahab escape the you know what? From what I saw he looked in deep poos.
But if he's innocent and I'm barking up the wrong tree as usual, I look forward to seeing him bowl down here. Sounds gun.
I am seriously missing Kamran Akmal in the opening slot.Farhat is crap but Younus and co should be ok against Steyn.Pak batsmen have traditionally done well against out and out quicks as opposed to line and length bowlers.
If you play street cricket in Pakistan it is an absolute requirement that you have a yorker in your arsenal since the matches are only 8-10 overs and the batsmen are there only to hit the ball for boundaries and sixes (which might explain why we don't have too many patient batsmen).Riaz seems to have a decent yorker. Pakistani bowlers seem to be born with that ability.
Great shot by Botha.
Yeah. He has effectively batted us out of the matchHaha Botha did some damage. That last partnership killed Pakistan. They had fought back so well.
tell me about it will be playing my first street game tommorow in Pakistan after 4 years, did try to replicate it at my Uni in UK but its never the same as playing in PakistanIf you play street cricket in Pakistan it is an absolute requirement that you have a yorker in your arsenal since the matches are only 8-10 overs and the batsmen are there only to hit the ball for boundaries and sixes (which might explain why we don't have too many patient batsmen).

Very interesting. I find the cultural influences in styles of play pretty fascinating. If you play street cricket in Pakistan it is an absolute requirement that you have a yorker in your arsenal since the matches are only 8-10 overs and the batsmen are there only to hit the ball for boundaries and sixes (which might explain why we don't have too many patient batsmen).

Tapeball kakay....Lahore's streets, ahhh i miss those tapeball tournaments...Riaz seems to have a decent yorker. Pakistani bowlers seem to be born with that ability.
Great shot by Botha.
Oh yea! that's the ****.tell me about it will be playing my first street game tommorow in Pakistan after 4 years, did try to replicate it at my Uni in UK but its never the same as playing in Pakistan
with Farhat, Hafeez, brainless Afridi, and luckless Razzaq....yea i guess we are down for a drubbing...this time Pakistan will fall well short of the target there is noway Pakistan can pose a challenge 3 times in a row chasing a target.
