*Official* Sri Lanka in Australia 2010

The really frustrating thing about these two batting performances is that aside from Hussey no one is actually out of form. In fact Clarke and Ponting look as sharp as they've ever been.

They just keep playing bloody moronic shots.

Could be a big defeat this one,70 or 80 runs?

This is so much like watching England in one dayers over the years,no real game plan and chopping and changing the side all the time hoping for the right formula.

I think the most frustrating thing is that, to a layperson, you'd swear it was Australia touring Sri Lanka and not the other way around.

Let's be frank though, going at 7 an over on a lively pitch is always going to be a very tough ask.

We really need our A-grade pace bowling attack for the WC. Johnson, Siddle, McKay probably isn't it.

We need Ponting firing fully. That means actually being good, not just looking good.

We need Hussey back to his 2009 form.

We need the Clarke of the last year with regards to making runs PLUS Clarke of these last two matches when it comes to strike rate.

Without those...

So many random selections ATM for Australia, just seems caps are given out in a brown paper bag.

They always have this **** period before every WC.. They did it before 03 and 07.. It's weird, like the selectors play **** around for a while and the team is unsettled.

Here it's like they're giving test players a run in the ODI side to get them ready. I don't know why, there are Shield games on around the place.

Don't think that's what they're doing though to be honest. Australia have mixed up the combination of their OD team for years in-between World Cups. Usually give quite a few players experience.

The difference now is that they're not swapping around players the quality of Hayden, Gilchrist, McGrath, Warne etc etc.

I'm also pretty sure they'd have a game plan, they're just not carrying it off.
