That's sort of why White shouldn't play tests... not a brilliant effort to a not particularly vicious ball.

Yeah Taylor's a good commentator IMO - his only fault is stating the obvious a lot, but it's probably instructed. Nine's target audience isn't us - or at least, they don't bother catering to us because they know we'll watch anyway.
I'm a huge Taylor fan, and I do like his books from the past, but his obvious commentary is just woeful, makes him suond like a guy on work experience. Goes without saying but he has a brilliant cricket brain, he's just never allowed to use it.

Wow... everyone has looked bloody clueless on the highest order except Haddin and Clarke. Not good of them to throw their wickets like so.

Test Match Sofa is ****. Not sure why people rate it. The ****s on it aren't even funny.

LOL let's take the piss out of cricketers and people will lol hard!
I would have to agree with this from what I've heard from the Test Match Sofa.

Typical middle order collaspe from us Aussies here 8-). White can't save the innings like he usually does as well.

If Hussey makes a big score here and that secures his Ashes position, I swear to God he better ****ing score centuries by the bucketload in the Ashes.

Playing like any team under pressure, tbh. My imagination or have there been a lot of wickets on the cut of late?

Is it me or have SL played ODIs in Australia a lot in recent years?

They were here in 2004/5 I believe. Then 2007/08 and now 2010/11.

Be tempted to give Malinga an over or two here. Another wicket nearly seals the deal.

The fact that it was Perera that good three of the first four wickets makes this so much worse. He's not even a bowler; he's a pretty mediocre batting allrounder selected almost as a specialist slogger. He's bowled okay, but it's still dire.
