Didnt watch that one but cricinfo said the ball had extra bounce from a back of length. Could surprise even the best out there this extra bounce...but again not sure if that was the reason or just **** technique by him.The pitch is clearly difficult to bat on. Makes Amla's innings that much better.
Pakistan still not out of it for mine. It's a slowish pitch, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to score runs. Particularly a few cameos of Afridi or Razzaq is all that's needed with the relatively smallish total.
Younis Khan's dismissal was a joke though. No way a guy averaging over 50 in test cricket should play away from the body like that.
This pitch was tailor made for him.Tsotsobe seems a pretty good find for the Saffers. Never seen him bowl until this series.
Was Tendulkar even 20 when he achieved that though?Amla.
Too early for the Hussey comparisons? This guy has made a sensational start to his ODI career. 6 hundreds and 9 fifties in 34 innings, average of 61. Remarkable.
Tendulkar took about 78 ODI matches to get his first hundred IIRC.
He got his first hundred against Australia in '94 I think. Must have been around 21.Was Tendulkar even 20 when he achieved that though?
What do you mean?Farhat - Just 79 to go.
And they thought he'd be better than Misbah lulz.
More coincidental than anything.So ironic
That was certainly one of the biggest umpiring blunders....More coincidental than anything.
It was ironic that the third umpire decision was given out in the first place, though.
