Not sure I can handle Shoaib and Amla in the same match. So much awesomeness all at once.

It's going to be an interesting chase. Stats show that all teams that bat second have won however, SA have posted the highest score on the ground and Theron can reverse it.

35 years old, avg speed 140k, pitch condition...relatively flat, 10 overs, 1 maiden, 39 runs, 3 wickets, 2 off decent batsmen, 1 classy batsman.--- Welcome back Shoaib.

Dunno about that..
There is some bounce in it off what i saw in the early overs....but its not that the ball is jagging around much. Akhtar's 3 wickets were purely based on skill of deceiving the bat. 2 off of slower ones and 1 by making Botha a mental victim.

Amla. :notworthy

Too early for the Hussey comparisons? This guy has made a sensational start to his ODI career. 6 hundreds and 9 fifties in 34 innings, average of 61. Remarkable.

Tendulkar took about 78 ODI matches to get his first hundred IIRC.
