They need to make some quick changes in this batting line up. Hafeez should stay along with Younis and Misbah in the middle order. Alam is playing such ****ty cricket these days. Asad should replace him in the middle order.

If Afridi wants to play like that, i rather have him open the innings, if he clicks good, if not at least he wouldn't expose the tail so early as he has been now a days.

Razzaq needs to be dropped all together. As much as i hate Shoaib Malik, he wouldn't been quite good here.

I don't think they will drop Razzaq as much as I would like to see that.. and Malik is the worst charactor to have in the team.. just for his personality and ego.. he should be left out of the team forever.

I say give this combination another chance the way it is.. yes they failed, but give them time.. I would drop shoaib akhtar for wahab riaz..and only if there was an spiner alrounder in the team.. who could replace razzaq.. South Africans are struggling against Spin... so why not just bombared them with that..

^ I don't see any reason to have Razzaq if he is not bowling or bowling **** like he did today, it was a meaningless spell only to give SA something to score off more or less. I rather see a specialist batsman in his place. In my opinion this should be the team for next game.

To be fair to Umar Akmal, he was run out by Misbah in the 2nd T20 where he called for the second slipped and then left Akmal hanging in the middle. In the first he was looking good but just unlucky to pick out a fielder in the deep..

Alam has to be there-he did ok in the ODIs in Aus and Eng,didn't he?He saves runs in the field too...very good fielder.

When are Yousaf and K.Akmal returning?With Kamran and Hafeez at the top;Yousaf,Younus,Umer,Alam,Afridi,the batting looks solid.Razzaq is a liability-bad fielder,doesn't bowl much,very inconsistent bat.The bowling too looks slightly weaker than usual-Afridi isn't firing,Akhtar is getting smacked for sixes by newbies and Gul has bowled pies.Looked a bit stiff to me too(but he's newly married so that may be the reason ) Ajmal has been the lone warrior.

the solution is to replace Razzaq with Fawad and have him bowle.. South Africa is already struggling against spin.. so the fifth bowler is going to be hafeez and Fawad..that way there is enough room for umar akmal to play.

Nah, think Ingram is good where he is. Probably don't want to touch the middle order, get that fixed for the WC. Would just let P have some fun, he bats a bit like Dan Vettori, can be difficult to dismiss and scores in unusual areas.

We don't follow Pakistan because they are good- we follow them because it is in our blood. When they are pathetic I feel pathetic, when they demolish a top order I feel top of the world. No other team can do that in my opinion.

so true. And it is also because of the legacy I suppose. I grew up watching first Imran and then Wasim and Waqar steaming in and bowling real quick. And they used to single handedly change the direction of matches quite often.

I guess it is like u said that when we do well I feel like I am at the top of the world.
