Now we can consider them not to be white washed in Odi series. After this performance.
I think the likes of Steyn, Morne Morkel, Kallis and a match fit Parnell might stregthen the attack slightly.
Indeed so.Yeah, but I think Brumby was talking about Zimbabwe.
Did you see the straight drive before that yorker? Was awesome. Someone in this forum called him Lance Klusener's replacement a few days back. Lets see if he lives up to the billing.Masakadza's ODI bowling figures
Miller's handy at the death, great 50 before being done in by a good yorker,
Nice.Fancy Zim will put up a decent fight with the bat given their top order and the weaknesses in the RSA attack but their bowling attack was exposed in the 20/20s and in 50 overs, the gulf in class will be even more evident. If today's game is played on the same wicket as the 20/20 then South Africa should be looking at 350+ if they bat first.
You know all is not well with the RSA attack if Albie is the stand out bowler. Langeveldt is a tricky one as whenever he looks just about ready for the knacker’s yard he performs but the attack yesterday was too samey even with a left arm quick. With Miller taking over the mantle from Albie of being the Proteas PP batsman and finisher, could be worth getting Tahir in (when qualified) as the second spinner with a view to the WC.Albie looks sharper than he's been in a while. A couple of the deliveries he bowled in the CCL were incredible.
They're all minnows, you know.....Amla is in supreme touch...yet another minnow basher is born
