I still pray..that ICC steps in and suspends Ijaz Butt some how...do it please..!

Well Misbah says don't underestimate me.....
People are saying he is educated, and probably the best captain around in the domestic circuit with a good cricketing brain....
Any thoughts?

this is just pissing me off
the team was announced without the input and consultation of Captain and Coach..
it seems like Mr. Ijaz Ass is the only one who is actually selecting teams.. no wonder we keep seeing parchi players like Imran farhat, wahab Raiz and soo on again and again in the team and there is no signs of honest players like Younis Khan..
here is Waqar Younis expressing his anger on being snubbed during the selection process..

Well I tend to think Misbah will do a better job captaining the team than anyone else in or probably even outside the eleven but as much as I think he was a pretty unlucky cricketer through his prime, I think he's finished as a batsman now.
He'll probably be the opposite of the modern captain and make pretty tactically sound decisions but fail to get the support of his team and be overthrown due to lack of runs and poor man-management.

Misbah 'MBA' Ul Haq will do as well as Salman 'MBA' Butt atleast Salman 'MBA' Butt had two world class seamers at his disposal Misbah 'MBA' Ul Haq does not even has that luxury.

The National Assembly Standing Committee on Sports has stepped in to resolve the issue with Younis. I am hoping and praying that it gets resolved and the man is put back at the helm. Misbah can stay in the team.

You are right he is quite tight on resources though. But there is one change of fortune he can hope for, if the ICC lifts the suspension of Amir just in time...

I meant suspension...........what makes anyone think that they might lift Amir's suspension. The evidence looked pretty damning I must add (for the umpteenth time). The sooner we leave behind this episode and its protagonists. The better it is for Pakistan cricket. Apparently there are still quite a few talented seamers in the domestic circuit back home. Better try them out soon.

there may be some decent seamers but there is no Aamir ,he looked like one of those rare talents that comes once in every 10 years anyways no use of crying over spilled milk its his own doing I suppose.
