Anyone else think it's worth sending in someone like a Harbhjan or Zaheer and telling them to just hit out and try for a quick 15-20 odd? I honestly don't see the tail contributing anything at all if they come 15 overs onwards on this pitch.
Agreed.

I would send Harbhajan in and tell him to hit hell for leather from the go.

Or Maybe If i was Dhoni,i would come myself in and try and smash a quick 30 odd.
Can't really see either contributing later on,when they are almost forced to play cautiously.

Interesting. Did not get up at all. If only it was Tait bowling it.

Though tbf it wouldn't have hit the pitch.

The sitiuation is now the exact inverse of what it was it the last test. India have 100 runs to get, but rather than being 8 wickets down, they are 2 down. I would laugh my ass off if Australia ironically managed to win this test, yet couldn't win the last won.

Ah, yeah, forgot the 'while playing a shot' part.
Even then mate, it's not where it pitched, it's where it hits the batsman.

If the batsman plays a shot, the ball must HIT the batsman in line with the stumps.

If the batsman doesn't play a shot, it doesn't matter where it hits the batsman.
