*Official* Australia in India 2010

Pujara sent out now. Like Doni is saying 'Here is your chance, grab it". Hope he does something great here.

*Sigh* I just knew India was going to make heavy weather of this. Without Laxman and with a tired Tendulkar I am feeling pretty nervous here. A big moment for Dravid. If he can take India home it will certainly answer his critics.

If Dravid's poor form was a concern, I say Dhoni the experienced guy should have come up and proved his worth as a test batsman. Not a good situation to send in a debutant in.

Maybe they don't want too much pressure on him if he has to come in later in the match and score the winning runs?

**** Pujara is nice through the offside. Played a similar nice shot in the first dig.

Let's hope he doesn't get out right after that lol.

Similar to Dravid in batting style. Superb concentration once he gets his eye in. Not easy to dislodge once set.

any body think is it a good thing to have pujara come in at 17/1.. rather than say 40/3 with both tendulkar and dravid in pavilion ???

Yeah definately. Dravid coming in at 5 would be good as well... he can be a good finisher. Better off someone experienced like Dravid coming in at that stage than inexperienced player.

There are both ways of looking at that. At 40/3, Pujara would have nothing to lose and nothing would've been blamed on him. Here he has everything to lose (and everything to gain as well)

Anyways, keeping my fingers crossed!

Alright, go back to jinxing. This thread is too weird without it.
So what do you want us to do ? Be loudmouth fans and predict victory so that most of you can come back after an Aussie win and quote our posts and make us look like a fool ?
