Nah, IMHO the worst commentary cliche was the one Shastri just spewed forth:

"Ojha has just been bit for six straight down the ground by Ponting. He won't mind that"...

Really, because if some bloke goes one-two-one down the pitch and lobs me back over my head about 10 rows back, it ****s me to tears.
That's why you are not Ojha.

Usually (being a leggy) I bowl best when batsmen don't always come down the pitch and smash me over my head.

North tried to smash the first ball, interesting...

There was a live cross to the ground today by a radio station in Dubai to report on Sachin's double ton (lots of Indians here who naturally love Sachin)

Guy at the ground was so overcome by emotion ("most joyous moment in this stadium's history" etc) that he dropped the phone and eventually just hung up

It was like an episode out of a British sit-com

Anyway, barring an Indian collapse, I really cant see Oz winning this game as there simply isnt enough time left for them to secure a comfortable lead and then bowl the Indians out

India, on the other hand, are in with a reasonable chance

Harbhajan either needs to come over the wicket or bowl from the other end to Ponting.

Bowden refuses to give anything out. 4 times very close LBW shouts for ponting now.
One of them he hit, one was shown to go over the stumps, one just didn't look out and Harbhajan didn't even appeal that much. One of the appeals looked very close though.

Looks like yet another poor umpiring decision..this time it was against Hussey.

Nothing counts on crusty Indian pitches on day 4, don't you know? All a spinner needs to do here is to spell 'w-i-c-k-e-t' to get one. The real test for a bowler is when a fast bowler has to bowl in the bouncy wicket of Perth on day1.

I thought Hussey did get a bad decision live, simply because the delivery was so full and you could see that Huss missed it, so must have had large amount spin, and he was on the front foot.

He was right on all of them bar the first per hawk eye. Though the contention in that one was that it hit the bat first. Hot spot would have been good.

His front leg was a way out and Ojha had ripped that delivery. Called it live too.

That's because you bowl pies though. :p

Support it's a good reference point when we're talking about what Ojha's thinking though. ;)
