This is where Hayden used to be so important. Can imagine Hughes taking the slow bowlers on too.

8-)

Let's just slog the good balls and not block them then. Did it occur to you that were a fair few fielders on the boundary when Watson was on strike as well.

Who cares? We got a match to win here and he just keeps blocking balls like a tawt. At least look to get to the pitch and rotate strike. **** I hate him now.

Well I agree that he could of been a bit more positive towards the spinners, it wasn't fair what you just said about him. Watson has had a great tour.

Ordinary shot from Katich.

If it was Katich I could understand, but Watson is known for his aggressive batting (against both pace & spin), why the **** would he do this now?

You must have missed that ton in the first Test then where he blocked his way to glory.

But anyway, pressure, easier from the couch, etc.

Don't know why he was having a stare about the decision though, looked pretty damn out.

Well I get why Clarke played the shot he did now first innings. Doesn't seem to be quite picking up length as quickly as normal.

But that was understandable. In fact I liked that innings because it showed Watson had another gear and developed his temperament.

Now that Watson has played out all the non-threating deliveries, both Punter and Pup have to negotiate the spinning ones now. Great ****ing job.
