Yeah I'm happy to admit any Indian batsman that has issues with short ball brigades (Sourav, Raina, Yuvraj), but that is not what got Sehwag out. Very misleading for anyone to think it IMO

If you're getting peppered it isn't always the throat ball that gets you. But te short ones can have a lot to do with you getting out. Was well bowled in that instance.

That's what I thought but cricinfo suggests that it wasn't originally going to be like that, but rather it hit something on the pitch and went completely bonkers.

Sehwag would have played that shot to that ball anyday. I wouldn't go so far as to suggest that he played that shot because he was unsettled by other short balls.
