If North could play like this more often he would be a great number 6, just needs to work on getting into double figures more often, because he sure looks classy has so much time for his shots once he's set. Such a calm player, his Ashes hundreds and his 99 were such brilliant innings under pressure, well maybe except for the first ton.

As long as North performs in the Ashes then he can keep the number 6 spot, but I don't want to see him failing for the first 4 test and then making another 100 to save his spot.

99? I don't think he has one, you mean Edgbaston?

Advocating the introduction of a rotational policy where the selection of North is concerned - play him in every 4th test so we're spared 3 tests of single figures between hundreds

North should stay positive and hit boundaries, don't want this ending in a draw, especially seeing as though there is dubious weather around.

What are we going to do about North, seriously...

Obviously he will be retained for the Ashes now. But Surely we would be better of having somebody who averages even 35ish consistently than North who averages 10 except for the career-saving ton...

(As I write this he plays a beautiful shot for 4. Damn he is good when he feels like it...)

England "slight favourites" for the Ashes. Gilly knows.

North looking million dollars out there now. Such a weird player.

Gilchrist has decided to go 'anti-Australian' for a while it seems...First India is way ahead of other teams in tests, and now England are favourites for the Ashes.

Both of which I happen to disagree with ;)
