I've always thought Rahim handled short pitched deliveries better than anyone in the team besides Tamim. Perhaps because he is so very short.

True that, but only when he sticks to conventional cricket. Whenever he tries to go the "Ashraful way" and become a bit innovative or risky, it looks ugly! And that is sad.

They did not get any warm ups but guess what? The thing that irritated the Bangladeshi players the most was the fact that the BCB board President was "okay" or rather "absolutely fine" with the New Zealanders practicing in the pitch for the match a day prior to the match!

Abdur Razzak was the one most annoyed "what is the point if our home advantage becomes their advantage?"...lol !

Rasel is a seriously awesome bowler for a man of his pace. Unfortunately that's a bit like saying that Daren Powell is a good bowler for someone of his accuracy standards and general cricketing brain.

Absolutely! Going by how rain is for sure to intervene, if NZ bat first and the D/L method comes into play, there is no way in HELL Bangladesh can win! Especially since there is no one like Tamim at the top to get them off to a scorching flyer!

That is where the problem lies...his pace which was at a time around the 120+ mark with his highest being around 132 has gone down so much so that it is tottering around 112-115 average. Afridi can fire a quicker one like that. LOL!

And unless conditions suit him, Rasel can get beaten the skin out of him despite his awe-freaking some cutters and sweet swing bowling sadly :'(!

Hey! Don't generalize a country with a smaller region within another country! This is the wet season in Bangladesh currently...however, if you want to compare Napier to any place in Bangladesh then it has to be Chittagong...over there, when it rains, it pours heaven and hell!

Just glad that there will be no flood in Dhaka though...hehehe!

Would suck if the match gets cancelled BIG TIME! But I start my new work tomorrow in NYC and have to wake up wayyyyy early, so might be a blessing in disguise as I would stay up. LOL !
