Mahmudullah's really not the bad against it either although he is admittedly more comfortably off the front foot, and also out of form.
Did you see Mortaza used another name for Mahmudullah? Ryiad IIRC.Mahmudullah's really not the bad against it either although he is admittedly more comfortably off the front foot, and also out of form.
Yeah I've seen that used before, quite a bit.Did you see Mortaza used another name for Mahmudullah? Ryiad IIRC.
True that, but only when he sticks to conventional cricket. Whenever he tries to go the "Ashraful way" and become a bit innovative or risky, it looks ugly! And that is sad.I've always thought Rahim handled short pitched deliveries better than anyone in the team besides Tamim. Perhaps because he is so very short.

Yup! But in Bangladesh he is better known as Riyad...far easier to say than his other 2 names...LOL !Always seen it as either just the one name Mahmudullah or earlier on in his career as Mohammed Mahmudullah.
They did not get any warm ups but guess what? The thing that irritated the Bangladeshi players the most was the fact that the BCB board President was "okay" or rather "absolutely fine" with the New Zealanders practicing in the pitch for the match a day prior to the match! We better not lose another flipping game. Seriously. That's the warm up - since we got none I can excuse it. But now it's business time.
YES, RASEL DAZZLE!Ooh! Forgot to mention! Syed Rasel is in...a little disappointed that they left out Rubel though :'(! Under Pont's guidance, he has already added a few miles to his average 80+ speed I hear =)!
Dollar might get raped by Brendon McCullum tbf!

Rasel is a seriously awesome bowler for a man of his pace. Unfortunately that's a bit like saying that Daren Powell is a good bowler for someone of his accuracy standards and general cricketing brain.I've always thought Rasel was a very good ODI bowler for a man of his pace.
Absolutely! Going by how rain is for sure to intervene, if NZ bat first and the D/L method comes into play, there is no way in HELL Bangladesh can win! Especially since there is no one like Tamim at the top to get them off to a scorching flyer!YES, RASEL DAZZLE!
I'm looking forward to the match tomorrow, if NZ bat first, I think they will win comfortably.
That is where the problem lies...his pace which was at a time around the 120+ mark with his highest being around 132 has gone down so much so that it is tottering around 112-115 average. Afridi can fire a quicker one like that. LOL!I've always thought Rasel was a very good ODI bowler for a man of his pace.
Agreed!Rasel is a seriously awesome bowler for a man of his pace. Unfortunately that's a bit like saying that Daren Powell is a good bowler for someone of his accuracy standards and general cricketing brain.
Hey! Don't generalize a country with a smaller region within another country! This is the wet season in Bangladesh currently...however, if you want to compare Napier to any place in Bangladesh then it has to be Chittagong...over there, when it rains, it pours heaven and hell!90% chance of not just rain, but thunder storms. Classic. And Kiwi's always bitch and moan about Napier ruining an ODI. Check Bangladesh out.
I wasn't generalising. I was being ironic.Hey! Don't generalize a country with a smaller region within another country! Just glad that there will be no flood in Dhaka though...hehehe!
Would suck if the match gets cancelled BIG TIME! But I start my new work tomorrow in NYC and have to wake up wayyyyy early, so might be a blessing in disguise as I would stay up. LOL !
No reserve day & definitely won't be any play today & word is the 3rd will be a washout too, so Bang will win the series. Not looking good for any play today. Anyone know if there's a reserve day?
