But Ishant wasn't and was given out at such a crucial point in the game. I think it all evened itself out by the end of the game.
...I'm not sure if you've gone brain dead or something after the win from delight but I don't think I've once complained about unfair umpiring decisions. I just asked if the LBW was out or if he had actually hit it.

Wasn't directed at you mate. Was just pointing out that the bad decision given to Ishant evened itself out with Ojha's repreive. If Ishant was given not out, it was pretty likely that Laxman and Ishant would've finished off the game for India.

Oh ok. I agree that all the bad decision basically evened themselves out in the end but that's not necessarily a good thing. There were some absolute shockers for both sides

Time for Bowden to think about hanging the crooked-finger up me thinks Was never a great umpire to start with & his form is becoming more embarrassing by the day. Almost Bucknoresque

Agreed. The umpiring has been pretty poor throughout the entire test. Bowden is not doing very well at the moment and Ian Gould doesn't seem to be too good to begin with.

Laxman is the greatest guy ever
AWTA so much. Bestest thing in thw world.

Going to create a new term: Indianism. Because when you win, it's not your skill or performance, it's a random made up quality that's the cause. Especially if you win when you're a favorite pre-match.

let me tell you guys. it is not difficult to beat the No.1 test team in the world. it is impossible.

way to go indiaaaaaa!!
Kanna... Nambba Vazhi Thani Vazhi..
Seendatha Sithariduva!!"

Now, lets all take a minutes silence to feel for the Aussie team.

After that, we can egg Ponting's house.
 Was a great game.

I seem to have missed some action on this thread. I wasn't even watching on television, but followed it on my phone and radio.

VVS Laxman may just be the best batsman with a sub-50 average, always MVP, always worth his India cap, and possibly worth a higher civilian honour. Take that, Deccan Chargers! Let's just stop bagging Ishant Sharma for now, as he's done full justice to every India cap he's got, and he's worth persisting over a long time. He needs to be mentored and groomed, so that he doesn't miss out, and senior players and ex-players will be vital here. Ojha, not so much. He's been the Marcus North or Nathan Hauritz for this team.
Averages 50+ when you take out the part of his career when he was forced to open, tbh. Probably the most under rated batsman of the past decade simply by virtue of being stranded on the wrong side of a number.
