It's not possible to have an attacking and defensive field placement at the same time.WHY ARE THERE STILL SINGLES ON OFFER ugh
Punter has done well. Only moment of blunder was taking of second slip when Laxman was first in. But he just saw on edge bounce off to somewhere else and tried to chase a similar edge.....its tricky, and he only has 9 outfielders he can use.
He can still win it.
Sachin was playing very well, and he was needlessly aggressive going for that upper cut. He must have assumed it was going to get more difficult after lunch session based on Aus 2nd innings. Zaheer has consistently got more reverse than Australian bowlers. Post lunch it was the spinners and Zaheer that put the brakes on the Aussie innings on the 4th day. So he was wrong to think it would be the same for Aussies, because it seems the wicket has become easier to play on - if anything. The bounce is not as viciously uneven, as it was with the new ball. Bit of a brainfade from him and Dhoni. Touch lucky/unlucky/stupid depending on where you are sitting.
