*Official* Australia in India 2010

Whatever it takes!!!
Hahahahahaha. Want like fifty bad decisions to go against India now. Completely deserved after the **** they threw after the Aussie tour. This is the solution, and because they couldn't be bothered to use the system properly, they choose not to use it.

Just desserts.

Yeh well unfortunately Australia doesn't have the best team available. Maybe if Aus management did exactly what you suggest it would work, but they don't (e.g. why is hussey, north still in the team etc.). So they might as well experiment even further by giving younger players some REAL experience.
We are talking about the Australian Test team. It is not the place to be experimenting with young cricketers, and to be providing experience for a potential bunch of talent. Smith is not in the top six batsmen in Australia, and hence should not bat in the top six. The Australian team is not such a basket case that it needs to start afresh.

I hate the idea of nurturing talent at the international level. You either deserve a place, or you wait your turn playing domestic cricket. Smith was fantastic for NSW last year, but he is not the only guy averaging > 50. The ideas being touted above make Australian selection policies sound like Bangladesh, just throw any cricketer with an ounce of talent to the mercy of the international game.

The most disappointing thing about Australia's performance is that no-one should be remotely surprised (we've seen it time and time again over the last 18 months ffs) and nobody is being held accountable

Something has to happen though. If not Smith or Hughes (who IIRC at the only two batsmen in the squad not in the team), then someone else.

Game over?

Yeah I bet this will be the same side that not only lines up next test match but in Brisbane too.

This is oh so satisfying. Especially considering how many catches and wickets off no balls we've had, and still doing well.

Need to keep going now and finish them off.

Despite scoring nearly 15000 fc runs at 52, Chris Rogers cant even get a look in at international level because of politics

Everybody knows that he is one of the 6 best players in Oz, so why not play him?

"Chris Rogers holds the rare record of scoring a double-century against his own country. Playing for Leicestershire in 2005, Rogers opened the batting against the Australians and posted 56 and 219 despite chat from Matthew Hayden, who said he should get out to benefit the national team. "

Maybe thats the reason
