Dhoni is easily the ugliest batsman in the Indian team apart from Gambhir.

I don't think I've ever seen the former hit a proper cover drive.

I reckon Raina's a pretty good find for us. Very elegant to watch. Kind of reminds me of a younger Sourav Ganguly in a way. He's a pretty good replacement for Sourav as well considering Yuvraj Singh was never going to be a permanent replacement anyway.
Raina's a genuine discovery for the Indians. He's done well in just about every scene, for every team. He's unfortunately been typecast as a T20/IPL specialist who struggles against the short ball, but he's delivered time and again, and with his fielding (and possibly bowling), he's a fantastic pick. He's a naturally talented player, but unlike so many others, he's been groomed properly and the people that matter have persisted with him, and that's showed in his superior performances.

He'd still make himself useful as an off-spinner in Tests, if the bowler workload is anything to go by.

Yeah Raina looks good, Yuvraj in comparison always looked shaky at the crease. Raina has a cool head and pretty solid defence. Would love to see him do well in SA later this year.

Johnson and Bolly look underbowled. They're the ones who have taken the wicket yet have only bowled 16 a piece while Hilf is being used as the whipping boy.

Anyway, forget dropping Norf. Play him as your spinners and drop Haurible for a specialist bat

Sachin misses out on the 90s AGAIN. He surely must be closing in on the most 90s now

Nothing special at all in the delivery. Full and a tad quicker, weird ball to get out to.
Maybe done by the lack of drift on the quicker ball?

Oh ****, Dhoni might be gone...we'll have to see.

Good ball, outside edge and it looks like it has bounced. You cannot give that!

WTF!?

North is weird. His batting is so feast or famine but he rarely gets genuinely collared with the ball and gets through big overs without giving too much away. Very consistent. The team needs more of that from his batting!

wtf?

INCOMING CONTROVERSY

That's a gift IMO. No-one was sure it was out live, very rare for the 3rd to give em.

But I have an epic dodgy feed so I'll leave it to those with HD.

haha, first controversy.

Commentator has no idea, balls taken close to the ground like that almost always bobble like they've bounced. Fairly out for mine.

Man those are hard to give, looks to have bounced off his fingers, but maybe it bounced off the turf. Out anyway.

Harbhajan walks in, I woke up to sounds of Laxman being unfit, though I'm unsure why. Can't really fault Dhoni for the dismissal, it was a solid ball. All in the balance now,

Was coming in to say "Johnners!" but I take it there's some controversy that cricinfo haven't picked up yet?
