Double teapot from Punter after that last scrapbook effort from Sachin. Great body language to back up his tactical acumen.

The batsmen-who-can-bowl have proved largely ineffective, even under-used. Sehwag sent down just nine overs, while Raina didn't bowl a single over, even as Ojha and Harbhajan bowled a century of overs between them, and were clearly tiring. Likewise, Watson and North have bowled eleven overs, two less than frontline bowler Dougie. That's still more than how much India have got out of their filler bowlers. While the rest are merely batsmen who roll their arms over for a while, Watson's capable of more (maybe North too) than that. What could be the case? Are they conserving his energy for the next innings? Or trying to keep him fit and far from injury? He's not quite the little medium-pacer like his counterparts elsewhere.

There's one really good thing abou this Indian innings, like few others- partnerships. While there haven't been too many big individual scores, the partnerships have been bigger and they add up nicely. If only the tail end can match the Aussie effort...

Someone tell Ravi Shastri that Pujara is in the squad ,not Rohit Sharma.

His and Gavaskar's Sharma love is irritating.

Gavaskar is a horribly biased commentator.. should've heard his rant in the sydney test  Hate Harsha Bhogle for some reason too. Holding > all

North Looking better than Hauritz at the moment.
Giving it more air, certainly. I suppose tho, in Haurtiz's defence, as North's only a part timer it's not so much of a drama for him if he is nailed a few times. As Hauritz is the specialist I can see how keeping it tight would be his first thought.

Bollinger actually bowling well here. Tiny little bit of shape into the left hander. Might slip in the odd short one to keep Raina honest tho.

One more catch goes down. Both sides have been below par on the field, especially in catching.
