I have to say I agree with him. I really fail to see the logic in buying a football club to try and make money off it. But hey, you become a PLC and you reap what you sow.

Sat at Exeter St Davids with approx a three hour journey home still to come - but well worth the day out - the first time I've seen us win since last May at Rotherham, and we are a massively better side who clearly keep on improving and, probably most importantly of all, do it playing good football. Yeah, as GF said it's because Drogba pretty much single-handedly pulls pants down against us. Reckon we'd have had a good chance if Vermaelen was fit, Koscielny might be a bit lightweight, but then again he loves a challenge and has been exceptional in recent weeks, the WBA game aside. Squillaci is good in the air as well, so might have a chance their.

Actually united cost Glazers Approximately 800 million pounds.

And if you look at the accounts of manchester United even not including player transfers ,it is making Profits of nearly 80 million pounds per year, which with Ticket price rise ,more sponsorship and new TV deal could go to about 100 million pounds without the conservative accounting.
And don't forget the goodwill the brand brings.

And at the same time the value of the club has increased to 1.3/1.4 billion according to Forbes.

Had it not been for the High interest rate Debt ,it is a fantastic acquisition by the Glazers. But not having their own money ,and relying on debt has cost them in the long run.
