Wasn't even a particularly good ball. Sent it down with a terrible seam position and it just landed on a length and did absolutely nothing. I don't think I'll ever fully understand Johnson's bowling but he's been taking cheap wickets for far too long for it to be a fluke.

I reckon it's a mixture between being genuinely fast, being a left armer and his action. Batsmen just aren't used to his style I reckon.

Really don't think he did. If he did it didn't contribute to the wicket anyway because it didn't move off the pitch and it came out at 147km/hr. Johnson's bowling is just one of those things - he's a good bowler, but I don't think I'll ever fully understand why. He's consistently fast and bowls from an unusual trajectory but it can't just be that.

Yeah his style is definitely unique. He bowls from a strange angle people arent used to.

Sprayed it around a fair bit, tbf. He's never going to be Alec Bedser tho, so it's rough with smooth I guess.
