Why are they allowed to change the ball during the 97th over? Surely they can take the new ball if the old ball is out of shape?

Really is incumbent upon Watto to make a big one here. I mean it's hard to criticise the knock and getting past 100 is more than the others have done but if he really wants to make a huge contribution to Aussie cricket, a big double would be great.
