I wish it was a nine Test series. Back to best Tests the whole way through too.Cannot wait for the tests to start. Only wish it was a three test series

Haha yeah, same. I like limited overs cricket as a nice change of scenery from time to time and in my ideal world we'd still have a bit of it and just not take it tremendously seriously, but having none of it at all would be a vast improvement on the current state of cricket.
tbh, I'm at the point right now where I don't care if I don't see another limited overs match

See you at the Tower.I never realised no radio coverage from ABC Grandstand. What a disappointment, the coverage from India in 2008 was superb.
I lack Fox Sports too, going to be a dull experience listening to some dodgy internet feed or watching ball-by-ball on Cricinfo.
**** I wish I had my laptop for this week or I'd do the same.Yeah, will migrate my office to the uni pub. Bit weird on the ABC's part, not like they commentated much last time though, just went on about Katich bowling and Krejza getting a game.
p.s. if Bolly doesn't play I'll be livid, although TBH he doesn't deserve it after missing the practice match.
Johnson averaging 11 and Bollinger 7 in last 12 months?Australia's tail looks really capable of hanging in in Test cricket. That could be a vital factor in this series.
Despite what those stats may say, Dravid and Gambhir are terribly out of touch atm and I hope they gain some form ahead of the SA series.India's batting form since the past one year
Virender Sehwag - 1282 runs @ 85.46

VVS Laxman - 674 runs @ 84.25
Rahul Dravid - 667 runs @ 60.63
MS Dhoni - 594 runs @ 66.00
Gautam Gambhir - 529 runs @ 48.02
Murali Vijay - 259 runs @ 32.37
Yuvraj Singh - 252 runs @ 36.00

Zaheer Khan - 86 runs @ 10.75
Pragyan Ojha- 42 runs @ 21
Tbf though, Our tail has proven quite a handful to Sri Lanka in the recent series and the likes of Harbhajan and Khan can drag on for a bit particularly when the pitch is not doing much.Australia's tail looks really capable of hanging in in Test cricket. That could be a vital factor in this series.
