Haha yeah, same. I like limited overs cricket as a nice change of scenery from time to time and in my ideal world we'd still have a bit of it and just not take it tremendously seriously, but having none of it at all would be a vast improvement on the current state of cricket.

I never realised no radio coverage from ABC Grandstand. What a disappointment, the coverage from India in 2008 was superb.

I lack Fox Sports too, going to be a dull experience listening to some dodgy internet feed or watching ball-by-ball on Cricinfo.

Sehwag's scores are:-16, 51, 131, 293, 52, 45, 56, 109, 16, 165, 109, 31, 99, 109, 0.

1282 runs @ 85.46 with a SR of 97

Tendulkar's scores are:- 4, 100*, 40, 53, 105*, 16, 143, 7, 100, 106, 8, 84, 203, 41, 54

1064 runs @ 81.84

Sehwag was also far and above India's best bowler in the recently drawn India-SL test series.

Really think they will pile it on in this series too.

Averages aren't too important when discussing tails though, it is whether they are capable of that 30-50 that can change a low scoring contest or push a team into a first innings lead and Johnson and Hauritz are both capable of that.

Despite what those stats may say, Dravid and Gambhir are terribly out of touch atm and I hope they gain some form ahead of the SA series.

Laxman, though, is in the form of his life and is only going unnoticed because he is being overshadowed by the exploits of Tendulkar and Sehwag.

Tbf though, Our tail has proven quite a handful to Sri Lanka in the recent series and the likes of Harbhajan and Khan can drag on for a bit particularly when the pitch is not doing much.

IIRC, Harbhajan averages 22 against Australia too.

Mithun obviously hasn't developed enough to be a potent bowler in test cricket as of now, but his batting has come as a pleasant surprise to me. He was batting with maturity and got out for well-played 40s twice. Potential bowling all-rounder material IMO.
