My argument RE his ommission, is unique to these two Tests, and just that I feel that Johnson, Hilfenhorse, Watson, Smith and Hauritz are a better collective package.
Totally disagree. Agree with pasag that Bollinger should be the #1 pick. In-fact he is more suited to bowling in this series then in the Ashes tbh.

This Bollinger stuff is absolute nonsense. He should be the first name on the team-sheet ffs. Go look at his FC record in India and then get back to me. If he's not our best bowler of the series I'll let the next f00l that wants choose my avatar for a month.

If we dropped everyone who didn't perform in England we wouldn't be able to get 11 players on the field. Craziness.
Katich and Watto TBH

Let's be careful not to talk in extremes. I am certainly not saying that he is absolutely useless and am in fact advocating/conceding that he comes back into the team for the Ashes. My argument RE his ommission, is unique to these two Tests, and just that I feel that Johnson, Hilfenhorse, Watson, Smith and Hauritz are a better collective package.
Yeah but the absurdity is he's the best bowler for these specific conditions. There was no logic in not selecting him in India last time and even less this time. AFAIC he's our secret weapon and the reason we might win this series.

Fair enough.

I am looking forward to seeing it all unfold.

Should be a cracking mini series.
Test cricket in India scares me. If we win it'll be an amazing achievement, but worried about where the runs are going to come from. But yeah, can't wait, bout time actual cricket was back in the headlines.

Katich and Clarke, as always.

If not then we're royally ****ed.

And Hussey, he's been pretty good there, especially in the recent ODI series.
Yeah but he's fairly average now (tests, that is). Although he might do well there, I agree. All depends on how well the Indians can hold a line outside off.

Winning chances for Australia will increase drastically if they claim Sehwag wicket early....if he stay's their for a day or two or even for some sessions......Australia can never be on top of INDIA.....

Don't think one Indian batsman is the key - even when we got Sehwag out early in the last series you'd have a Vijay or Gambhir or VVS standing up.
