Yeah, I did not insult you guys. If you get sensitive when I say something about a 3rd person that you and I both don't know, message boards are not for you tbh. Not you in particular, anyone who takes this the wrong way. I abuse Ind's cricketers as much as I abuse other nation's cricketers and people who know me here will understand. Might take you a while to get used to it.:p
Hot under the collar, aren't we.

I was a member at the **** hole of a forum you come from. You were a troll there and I don't want you to ruin this place. Vain attempt from me to save this place. Clearly not working, I will grab my coat.

Posting facts and figures is considered trolling here?

Close the door behind you please.

Well, clearly you don't know what a troll is.

Taips is all about good cricket debate in all areas of the game.

The fact that he bases his beliefs with good hard stats hurts some like you.

I think I know who this chap is.

Yeah one wonders why India are so loath to tour SA. I don't know why people think this is a weak SA team. Virtually all of the SA top 6 would walk into any test team in the world and the top six is far stronger than the rapidly aging Indian top six. The SA attack is far stronger than India's. Imho India will be lucky to win a test.
Because they got defeated at home by Australia, and managed only a draw against England,?

You were a tosser at supersport. Will consider you to be a tosser until you prove yourself otherwise. Not to me, hell no but to everyone else. If everyone is going to be okay with you, I will just put you on ignore and mind my own business.

I don't normally give excuses but here are many valid points.

1.) Firstly India is no England or Australia in SA conditions.
2.) We had just beaten Australia in Australia.
3.) We then have to return home and face them immediately again so soon after that series. No other country in the world plays Australia back-to-back.
4.) We had come off our longest non-stop playing season ever. We toured BGD, PAK, IND, had a home-tour, toured ENG and then toured Australia for quite a few months. Don't blame the boys for not being at the top of theiir game come the home-series.
5.) Then in the last test against Australia we thrashed them by an innings and plenty.
6.) Then if you actually saw the England series...we bossed it besides a silly hour in Durban. We got 20 wickets once and 19 wickets twice and we were all over them with a weakened attack with no Steyn and Kallis at times and a out-of sorts Ntini.

But as a realist and genuine cricket follower...taking away those excuses...those results don't look good on face-value but I can tell you that I know the genuine stroies behind those series' and India are going to be in for a tough series just like we will be when we tour India.

Eventhough we have an amazing record in India...we know how tough it is to tour there.

I seem to recall that the 2 games when we took 19 were both badly rain affected.

Agree with only the last part of your post. Yes, SA are favorites, nobody denies that. But to suggest Indian batting lineup is worse than SA is just plain stupid.

Is it?

I would suggest a combined batting line up of

Smith
Sehwag
Amla
SRT
Kallis
AB

Taipan, SeamUp and Shri cut the crap out now. If you cannot debate/argue without result to petty insults don't bother. Any further crap live the above will be deleted (note, this is also NOT a chance for you to each get one last word in)

No doubt we have a better batting line-up in South Africa and other test nations around the world where there is either bounce, pace or side-ways movement if we had to play India.

I would suggest that SA has the toughest top 6 in world cricket if the right players are picked and played in their correct positions.
