NXT final was trash.

Crowd was dead, the beat-up at the end was ****house and the video to finish the show off was poor and tried to build it up as something when it was crap.

Not impressed.

Yeah, very disappointing, especially compared to the first series

Thought Kaval got a decent reaction though

For a second I thought he was going to fall from the top rope when he was celebrating. Would have been disastrous tbh.

Haha yeah, would have been hilarious though

Season 3 looks dross althogh Vicky and Goldust as pros makes me wanna watch. Did you see that undertaker-sized woman?

Kaval winning was great but I agree about the finale. Michael McGillicuty is dreadful on the microphone and pretty much killed all heat and surprise out of the victory with his comical, rambling promo.

NXT Season 2 has been a major let down in my opinion. As hot as Season 1 was with great personalities like Bryan Danielson, Wade Barrett and even David Otunga, the Season 2 cast were bland, boring and generally poorer in the ring than their Season 1 counterparts.

There was no underlying storyline in Season 2, where as in Season 1 you had the dynamic between The Miz and Bryan Danielson and you had great pairings like Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett and Matt Hardy and Justn Gabriel.

NXT Season 2 has been a huge let down in my opinion and to be honest, Season 3 doesn't look that great but I'm curious to see how it all pans out since it's an all Divas line up.

Really liking Alberto Del Rio at the moment. He has such an old school heel character and is a real cross between Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho and JBL. Not bad people to model yourself on. Alberto Del Rio is hopefuly going to be a star in the WWE.

Yeah, I think Del Rio is going to be great, and did you see what they put on his wwe.com profile page accidentally?

I did see the report on that. Apparently they wrote on his biography that he's supposed to be a big deal relatively quickly. I'm glad that WWE see potential in this guy because from what I've seen so far, I've become a fan of his.

I hope Del Rio gets a big push, I really do rate him.

Apparently Matt Hardy vented some frustration with WWE on his twitter. Nothing major and he is not quitting, but seemed a bit upset. Do people think he should be given one last push for the world title or do you think that it is time for him to be wrapping things up and being used as enhancement talent for the SD midcard? I'd personally love to see him to win the Royal Rumble, I think it could be a proper good story to see him chase a title, because it means more to him than it would to someone like Swagger or Sheamus who was handed it after no time.

Perhaps Cody Rhodes hit a nerve when he noted how Hardy has put on weight and how he is a shadow of his former self, noting that even Version 1.0 was better and now he is Matt Hardy Version Zero.

I would love to see it personally, always been a fan of Matt and I think I was one of the minority back in the day that preferred him over Jeff. Dunno why that is, just always been a fan. Considering how much of a company man he's been as well I'd say he definitely deserves it, sure Jeff was over to the moon when they gave him the title but he's been in and out of the company and doesn't seem to give half as much of a **** about wrestling as Matt does. But like I said, I'm just a fan. Whether it'd make sense from a business side of things I don't know.

Would quite like to see it, but somehow doubt it will happen. Not entirely sure Hardy's twitter outburst isn't some sort of worked shoot in any case tbh, he released similar sort of statements when he was feuding with Drew McIntyre a few months ago.

Good solid worker in any case really, not as explosive as Jeff in the ring, but certainly has a better grasp of the basics and can work the mic a hell of a lot better. His feud with Edge back in 2005 was incredibly emotionally charged and was probably the finest work he ever did. Help put Edge over like crazy as well. Just doesn't quite have the star quality to make him a real top of the card type imo, but a reign as champion would be a nice thing to see. Deserves it for his efforts over the years if nothing else.

I'd say in no way is he material for a regular main-eventer. But don't think a short reign would be the worst thing in the world. For everything about him, he is a popular guy. I'm not really sure what the crowd reactions to him are like these days as I have not really followed, but a year or two ago they were pretty large.

Will be able to start following the wrasslin' again for a few weeks sometime soon, am back home on the 15th and my Dad has brought the Sky back (again, lol).

Not remotely world title material IMO

Agree with Sledge. Imo, any loss of crowd reaction for Hardy in recent months would be because it is starting to become apparent that he is destined to keep failing in his quest to move up the card.

Agree with Sledger here. I've always been a fan of Matt Hardy and have always liked him more than Jeff. I've always found Matt to be the sensible, loyal company man who works hard and does things right.

Jeff has always been a bit of a screw up and I'll never understand why he's so over and won multiple World Heavyweight Championships with his dreadful promos and complete lack of verbal charisma. Granted Jeff's got charisma in his crazy spots that he does, but Paul London and Evan Bourne do crazy spots too and they aren't that over.

If anything Matt Hardy was one of the big reasons why Edge got so over as a big time heel, but all credit to Edge for running with it and turning it on even more than anyone could've imagined and becoming an even bigger star. Matt Hardy was one of the key people that put tag team wrestling on the map.

For his loyalty and style of working, I think a short run with the World Heavyweight Championship wouldn't be such a bad thing. He still gets the biggest pop on Smackdown with the exception of The Undertaker and he's more over than most of the Smackdown roster.

I agree that he's getting old and has put on some weight, but if WWE can motivate him enough to get back into shape and have a run with the World Heavyweight Championship, then I'm sure that'll get people watching.
