On Monday's RAW, Chris Jericho announced that he will be leaving WWE once and for all if he does not win the WWE Championship in the 6-pack challenge match at Night of Champions. With Jericho's WWE contract expiring soon and talk that he's strongly considering leaving the company to pursue his career in the entertainment industry, it appears WWE has begun setting the stage for his possible departure.

As of this past weekend, a WWE source stated that Jericho still has not signed a new contract. It's still entirely possible that Jericho re-signs, but since Jericho has acknowledged in several recent interviews that his contract is expiring and he's considering moving on, WWE has incorporated the real situation into WWE storylines.

Jericho has said he wants more time off to to spend with his family, record music and tour with his heavy metal band Fozzy and pursue other opportunities in the entertainment industry.
No, please don't go :(

C'mon Jericho, pull one out of the bag. It would not be the first time he has pulled the bluff with the retirement clause, he did one in a match against Evan Bourne on Raw, once.

What I meant to say is that the Evan Bourne match wasn't long ago, when his contract was still near running out. This is hopefully a way to work the smark crowd. Regardless, I, and hopefully many others will be cheering Jericho on in the match, as it would be a great loss to lose him from Raw.

Booker and Goldust ****ing ruled.

Booker and Goldust at a 7-11 is another great clip. Booker cracking it at there being "The Rock" Slurpee cups, and no Booker T ones is great. And then he goes "oh, they must be all out of Booker T cups".

Loved the mid-to-late part of 2002 WWE.

I don't think any skit the WWE ever does will ever top Booker T and Austin's fight in the supermarket for me, that was one of the greatest things I've ever seen. "PRICE CHECK ON A JACKASS" quality.

Also, I think this has to be my favourite Booker T comedy moment. None of them could keep a straight face, you have to love it.

Was just browsing youtube and came across this.

YouTube - The Greatest Chris Jericho Tribute

Really top stuff for a fanmade vid. So good though, reminded me how awesome that Jericho/HBK feud was. Might have to rewatch a load of Jericho's title matches from around that period. WAG. Will miss him so much if he leaves. Will be a crying shame.

Haha I remember that one. Book laughing when he did the HBK pose was hilarious

On reflection I can't quite make up my mind about what's funnier, Booker's remix of HBK's theme or the fact that they tried to make us believe that Xpac reads newspapers.

Outstanding! Such a great feud that was too. I don't think Chris Jericho will leave and I'm hopeful that he'll negotiate a good deal for himself with the WWE. From what is online it seems that Chris Jericho wants to stay with WWE but wants to work fewer dates. Hopefully WWE will allow that to happen as losing Chris Jericho would be terrible for them.

But that video was amazing. Chris Jericho truly is one of the greatest performers of all time. I also think that his heel work since coming back has been far better than any other work in his career.

Yeah, disappointing. Brawl was odd.
Especially with Riley hitting Watson with his finisher and then pretending that it didn't happen. Moreover, Mcgillicutty was absolutely dreadful on the mic. Kaval was borderline serviceable but MM was just terrible.
