Umar Akmal was great. He probaly played Swann better than anyone else I've seen. But that would be a rehearsel of what Swann could expect against India.

I'm interested to know how much truth there is in the paradigm that you have to use your feet to play spin well. Do Laxman and Tendulkar fall in the category of players who use their feet a lot against spinners? Why has Tendulkar opted to play spin mostly from the crease as his career has progressed?
Have seen him use the feet quite often as he used to. (Not just jumping down the track, but adjusting to the back foot making room for the cut)

Tendulkar's economy of movement which he has implemented religiously since 2007, may lead one to think his footwork has become a bit leaden, but actually just that the extravagant moves have been just chopped off.

He already has played a series in India (although not with supreme success) and might be tuned for what is on offer next summer.

Yes, that is certainly true.

Exactly, yeah. He knows what he's doing when he moves his feet.

Might be some consolation for being part of a bowling attack that conceded 200 in 50 overs to a batsman for the first time in ODI history.

yeah, but we dont produce roads in SA.

Every time India tour they whine about the tracks. Except for the times they refuse to play.

Getting back on track, Sky are saying that yesterday was the first time Amir has bowled a no ball in his entire first class career.

We're really not keen on members making inflammatory posts that contribute nothing to the discussion and make it impossible for reasoned debate.

Either stop it or find somewhere else.
