You are right. This attitude from a young player is terrible and i think he certainly should behave and take inspiration from Trott not bad mouth him.

His attitude, approach and discipline is all wrong..He got a lot of fame and accolades too early in his career, too many former players, analysts, cricket fans started hailing him as the next best thing and he totally lost perspective on the game

Those last 2 fours Broad has hit shows how much natural talent he has for bating,especially considering he doesn't get too many occasions to do it.If he could learn better shot selection his average would go right up.

Think the Pakistan heads have dropped slightly, been an ordinary display of ball-following captaincy from Butt, IMHO. Speaks well, but not much of a skipper from what I've seen.

Heaps buddy heaps..there was a whole debate about him after the third test match on this thread..

And GIMH, fine but that century was absolutely crucial in that test match..and anyone who can rise up to a situation like that on his first test match has quality.

There was a debate about his technique on the back foot against a sustained short-of-a-length attack on quick pitches, and his likely suitability against Australia at 3. Nobody ever suggested dropping him.
