Scorecard Draft

Not quite sure with this pick. Was torn between two and can almost guarantee that Noble One will go for whichever one I don't.

I've left a gap for my third seamer for ages, and have turned down a few opportunities to pick a guy for that slot. Not really sure I can turn down Maurice Tate at this stage of the draft either. Don't fancy my chances of being able to pick a player of his quality for this role when it is my next opportunity to pick.
Also with the versatility of my batting line up, with me being able to pick a player anywhere from 3-6, I'll fill the more specialist spot.

So yeah, Maurice Tate it is. Zaremba

Another good addition to the middle order. Hard to say no to the man with the 2nd most first class hundreds. I am running a huge risk going into the last round without a wicket-keeper, but having Flintoff gives the luxury of being able to select a keeper with a sub-20 average.

Took a big risk of picking a batsman at this stage. I'm one bowler short, still. Keeping my fingers crossed for the 11th round as there are a few very good bowling options left. Surprised to see world's all-time best left-arm spinner available still, by the way.

Couldn't see past Duleep at this stage. God knows what he could have achieved but for politics.

Team so far:
Gautam Gambhir
Geoff Boycott
George Headley
Duleep
Ian Chappell
Adam Gilchrist+
George Ulyett
Richie Benaud*
Shane Bond
George Lohmann

TBF, I would have taken him but for already having two reputable left-arm spinners, and needing an opener more than anything else.

Marcuss preferred Tate to that SLA, weldone. If Tate didn't exist, the SLA would probably be gone.
I don't care, though. As I don't need an SLA at this stage. All I need is a class fast bowler, and there are a few of them remaining.

Only hoping that we don't end up in the nineteenth or twenty-first century again by the time my next pick comes :)

It seems that you are on the same boat as mine, praying for the draft to be at a certain timeline when the next pick comes...

Well, I certainly dont want to be in the 1800's again.

With Imran, Steyn, Gillespie, Barlow and Qadir, I dont think I need another bowler so I think I'm in a slightly different boat I reckon.
