Would happily accept Gold Coast and Greater Western Sydney into the league if we kicked out Essendon and Collingwood.

Bookies love this ****. Move the line, watch all the punters come anyway and see if the Dorkers can be competitive.

Was meaning all week to come into this thread and ask whether Brent Harvey is the most underrated player in the last 10 years.

The numbers for this Hawks/Freo game just don't add up. The ground average for Aurora stadium this year is just over 171, yet the line is 42.5. Now I've got the total points in for 177.5, which would split into 110 for the Hawks and 67 for Freo. The forecast is for a bit of rain before the match and windy, which if that eventuates makes it even tougher to cover a line of over 40.

Will be interesting to see what the bookies put up for the points over/under, because based on their line it'd have to be over 180, which for Aurora is just plain wrong.

Speaking of which, these are the numbers I've got for the points this weekend. Five points either way usually results in a bet.

Geelong v Carlton - 192.5
Hawthorn v Fremantle - 177.5
St Kilda v Richmond - 176.5
Sydney v Western Bulldogs - 175.5
Collingwood v Adelaide - 179.5
Port Adelaide v Melbourne - 173.5
Essendon v Brisbane - 190.5
West Coast v North Melbourne - 188.5

Lol @ the cats singing the song barely giving a **** after that win.
Why would they care? They pretty much can't move out of 2nd place, they were playing for nothing tonight. Get the job done, get off the field, and keep tapering towards the finals. I'm not expecting Collingwood to be particularly excited tomorrow night against Adelaide either.

If you ignored the age difference and just had to pick a player to be in your team this year, who would you choose out of Paul Chapman and Gary Ablett? Obviously most will say Ablett, but I don't think it's as completely a ridiculous question.

It's not - Chapman. Have been saying the same thing myself for a large part this year. Doesn't matter which team, who you've got, where you sit; Chapman is the man for all occasions.

Not saying its wrong. It just sounds funny, especially considering how every win for my team means so much and you can hear it when Richmond sing the song.
