*Official* Pakistan in England 2010

This Wahab Riaz looks like a rather good fast bowler, how long has he been around the national setup? Just asking because Pakistan have dished up some rather rubbish backup quicks during the last 6-12 months.

Edit: Haha, and he picks up another, good stuff.
Good catch too which is great to see.

Hey this isn't bloody fair, the Pakistanis are actually taking catches:@

Goood bowling as a unit this morning, conditions aren't that bad at all for batting. Lovely shot by Colly, I actually assumed it was KP.
Edit: not so lovely, in deep doo-doo now.

****ing pathetic ****house batting. Never put a team away. Give every newbie some confidence by being useless against them.

I'm watching this one closely. Even though I have a lab report due tomorrow which I only started 30 minutes ago.

EDIT: Haha, what kinda shot was that? Just held the bat there.

And now Colly's gone - to a completely ****e shot if TMS are to be believed. We'll struggle to make 3 figures at this rate. Perhaps this will shut up the commentators who are forever banging on about how we can get away with 6 batsmen including Prior.

Have $5 on England seeing as they have a far stronger team, was tempted to put my dosh on Pakistan paying great odds, if they can take full advantage of these conditions and this start, they could win this.

Pakistan looking the goods here. The bowling has been pretty impressive as usual, especially on this pitch.

I swear Collingwood has been dismissed playing a back foot defensive shot and choping onto his stumps a number of times now. IIRC the commentators were making a point of it not long ago. I think it's because his bat is far away from his body when the ball is released and he is dragging his bat back at an angle.

Pakistan must fancy their chances big time. Even if it's still overcast when Pak bat, it'll be much harder for England's bowlers knowing there's a pisspoor total to defend.

Solid bowling, but really brainless batting tbh. No application at all. Given what we know about the Pak attack, it shouldn't be beyond them to work out that they see the new ball off before lunch and then look to cash in. Thick buggers.

I must concede that I would have gone with Tanvir Ahmed based on his superior FC record in the past FC season to Riaz, who didn't play much - but it looks like the Pakistan selectors got it right, going with a left armer (something England don't tend to enjoy) who has a bit more pace about him.

Luckily England can bat deep with Swann and Broad more than capable of holding a bat guys. And Anderson can hang around for a bit.

Expecting England to scrape together 230+.

asif is a seriously seriously talented bowler

he actually uses his brain on the field

though i am not sure if keeper up's the best idea. there's going to be an edge sooner or later
