How Are You Doing On CM?

Applied for Sunderland job in the close season, apparently despite me winning the Serie A twice in two years and the Coppa Italia 3 times in 4 years, and two champions league Semi-finals doesn't make me a better canididate for the job than John Gregory.

In other news, resigned from Ivory Coast after a shambolic display at home to DR Congo which resulted in a 1-0 defeat and about half the first team squad picking up injuries. Have now taken over the England job, should be more interesting.

Started my Juve save, first game was the old Reserves friendly and Amauri ruined his cruciate ligaments in the process of scoring and is now out for 9 months. Great.

Hmmm, maybe I'll be a bit more competitive a bit quicker than I thought. After failing to win any of my first 4 games, I'm currently on a 12 game unbeaten streak, winning 10. A top 7 finish and Europa League qualification is certainly within my grasp.

Just drew 2-2 with City. Currently sitting in 2nd, 7 points behind City, 3 games in hand.
Kinda wish I didn't win everything, Club World Championship does my head in.

Oooh. Nearly got into Europe with Brentwood Town. Dumped out in the League Cup in Round 3, but went on a great run in the FA Cup - defeating Southampton, Plymouth, Cardiff (on a replay) and Fulham at home to reach the Semi-Finals where I drew Tottenham.

Went 1-0 up only to fall to a 3 - 2 loss. Was absolutely under the pump though. I had two shots on target to their 14; but nearly completed a smash-and-grab that would have given me a final against Villa who eventually qualified for the Champions League.

Promoted to League One though...

Not too bad if you're in the Spanish league, the games are scheduled for just before the 2 week break.

Is there still that annoying issue in the EPL where if you're quite successful you end up with a massive fixture backlog?

Really hate that, can result in players and board etc... getting upset that you are not at the top of the table, when you've played 3 games less or whatever than everyone else. Stupid game.

Left Inter to take over at Sporting CP (Lisbon) in Portugal. Was down 3-1 to Porto in the Taca de Portugal 6th Round, with 5 minutes to go, before a stirring comeback got me to 3-3 deep into stoppages, and then two goals in extra time gave me a 5-3 win.

No point reinstalling FM now, when a new versions round the corner, but wish it'd hurry up! Not had an FM fix for a good few months
