Indeed a bit like when Bates joined the dirties, synchronicity of ****s.Ha, the **** joins the scum, a match made in heaven
I heard this morning that it looked unlikely though
Yes but nobody actually knows this apart from those in the club. Though Arsenal crow on about having the money to spend, the fact that hardly any is ever shelled out does suggest that there may be some exaggerating going on.I'm not suggesting going on a massive spending spree ala Man City (who might want to be careful if they make the CL and with UEFA's new financial rules coming in), and send the club up the creek, but you know, given how much money Wenger is meant to have, what is so wrong in spending a little bit of money to get the best player/s you can get for the positions you so desperately need to fill? It's more or less a copy and paste job from Arsenal fans these days.
Not worried. There have been some seasons where they haven't fired up much but we've still won the league through other players. Wasn't long ago that Scholes was out for almost an entire season and then people were all too happy to point out that Giggs "didn't deserve" an award because he barely played for United in another title winning season. So with that in mind, it seems we have other players who can fill in for them.Just curious here, how worried are United fans about their reliance/dependance on Scholes and Giggs? Without them you'd be about half the team you are.
Farce and a joke more like.Bellamy on loan to Cardiff apparently. Awesome.
Indeed. And if you're the sort of mercenary club that fields a low strength side in the FA Cup when it's wide open then you'll lose out in the long run anyway.Unfortunately, there is no trophy awarded for performance per unit of money spent.
Yeah, very good point actually. At least the defence would know Shay's not going to come for crosses and handle the situation appropriately. With Almunia and Fabianski, they've no ****ing idea what's about to happen, except that it's likely to end with us a goal down.
It is quite incredible. Arsene is a legend.
