Scorecard Draft

I'll try an abbreviated version.

What i wanted to say was, first, that I thought this draft was a magnificent idea.

And secondly, however good the team you pick, you can't win a match unless you can take 20 wickets. So the most important consideration is how many wickets your bowlers get per match, and unless that adds up to 20 your team isn't going to win anything.

So, basically, it would be stupid for anyone to pick another batsman until their bowling line-up adds up to 20 wickets per match.

This was followed by statistical analysis of each team, based on wickets per match and runs conceded against runs scored, conclusively proving that Somerset has chosen a crap team, and that Barnes is the greatest cricketer in history.

But that is all lost now, and we shall never know the truth...
Yeah mate. Re-write it, at least it will be a good read!

NUFAN

Y no Afghanistan flag
Muralitharan 6.01
Turner 5.94
Trueman 4.58
Steel 2.23
Dexter 1.06
GChappell 0.54
GSmith 0.09
Hunte 0.04

Total 20.49

Looks like I don't need to pick another bowler, but really my team would look WEAK if I went in with those 3 plus the supporting task below. I get what you are saying though nicko..

haha.. jeez.. If that is so, I will make an alternate pick right now.. I don't wanna wait till someone else snaps up my next shot... Will GI Joe be able to confirm right away?

Awesome, I think your team looks better with Shoaib than Watson anyways.

At least at this stage in Watson's career.

Confirmed :p World XI matches offers an unfair advantage in that they generally feature the cream of the crop. More importantly, using a World XI scorecard also massively disadvantages the next selector in that he's automatically got so many greats off limits for his pick.
