Broad cops up a bit of trouble.

Sure in this instance Broad was wrong, but I don't think he's generally that bad. He kicks up a bit of a fuss now and again but nothing major apart from this instance. Personally I really like watching him and am glad we have him playing for us.

But then I like sportsmen to have a bit of oomph. Schumacher, Nadal, Watson, Vettel, Phelps... among my favourite ever non-English sportsmen.

There is a difference between 'oomph' and 'seriously that just wasn't funny'

Don't ever compare Nadal with Broad again please.
Nadal and Broad are two sportsmen that I really really like because they are both fiery in their own way, that's all. Of course, Nadal is amazing off-court, and I have no idea what Broad is like off the pitch, he hasn't really had the same level of exposure.

Yes, Nadal is a gentleman who always compliments his opponents, even if he does use a bit of gamesmanship, while Stuart Broad is a whinging **** who skates close to match referees time and time again, and usually gets off. This time, he finally got a fine he deserved.

As long as they don't break people's bones out of play....i am a fan of aggressive cricketers as well...

Agreed. Very confused at the Pakistan management though... if it's true, which no-one has actually said, why didn't they report it to the match referee so he could take it into account?

Think everyone needs to take a chill pill tbh, like others have said, no one from the Pakistani camp has actually come out out and said that it was Broad's throw that broke Haider's finger.

First, Haider is not one of the PCB Butts favorites..second, they are probably just happy that Kamran might just get back into the side, score a fifty and all the talk about dropping him diminishes...third, i don't think its in the best interest of PCB to become so aggressive over this incident and jeopardize there diplomatic relation with ECB who has been helping them play cricket in there country and still make good profit when ECB incurred losses..so over all i think there is no single good reason for PCB to come out and protest harder on the issue.

As Neil said in the tour thread:

Fingers are funny things - hairline breaks can cause no pain/irriation, then half-heal before getting caught again (in the warm up at Worcester IIRC) and fracture spectacularly second time through. Take that from experience!

Haider is just too chill (and awesome) to fightback at some bumhole who thinks it is funny to try and kill someone... I've met him and he's just the most gentle hardworking of the whole team tbh... Lovely character. And anyway why should Zulqy get into some trouble on his debut?

Get that people are annoyed about this, but a couple of posts including the one above are skating pretty close to inappropriate (plus exaggerating slightly possibly). By all means be narked off but the abuse serves no purpose guys.

Lol. I don't see him abusing any member of the forum in the post. Don't see what the problem is with calling a **** a ****.
