Werder always pay over the odds for everyone. Sold Vela to them for loads. Am selling Saivet to somebody else to loads, but Werder matched their price. Sold Roskicy to them for loads.
Rosicky is now Unite'd youth coach at the age of 32 ftr.
Am so gutted that I didn't choose foreign leagues when I set up this game, feel like I've taken Arsenal as far as I can. Best team in the world, have won everything under the sun for the last few years. Have had a meh start to the league this year, but I'll probably still end up winning it.

Always start with English, Spanish and Italian leagues switched on. Keeps the CL at a decent standard and allows for decent amount of further opportunities further down the line.
My AC Milan team is about to retain the Serie A and probably win the champions league in my current season. As well as pick up the Coppa Italia. If all that is achieved I will move on and focus entirely on managing the Ivory Coast fulltime for a while until an appealing club role becomes available.

Have just started up 3 new saves this evening. Not sure how much attention I'll pay to any of them.
Started one with Juve with a few leagues switched on, then another with Plymouth Argyle.
The PAFC one will probably get left to rot
Have spent the last half hour or so playing as Vasco in the Brazilian second division. Have 13 countries and 26 leagues switched on
Oh and no real players. Is vitstl.

I haven't played the game in about two weeks. I have applied for the job at Atletico Madrid, so either I take if they want to hire me, which I think they will, or go until the end of the season and resign. Winning with Inter is so easy. I do have the Spanish second division, so I could give that a go and try and get a team into La Liga.

If you did that on Cm01/02 you would dominate so much. Used that tactic loads at one stage.

Haha, my defining memory of that game. Was Javier Saviola being sent off on one of my games, and the commentary saying "Saviola is livid with the referee at that decision and is telling him what he thinks of it" (or whatever it actually says), then I switched to the 2D pitch view and you could just see the black dot of the referee running around in circles with Saviola chasing him

Oh yeah, he must be long gone, was about 29 back in that version, so would be very surprised if he was still kicking around these days.
Is it just me, or generally, do players on these games who have 18 finishing, always score more goals than those who have 20 finishing? Or am I imagining that?

Selling Nesta back to Lazio for 120 million was just the best thing ever.

Haha, I remember both of those incidents. The Nesta sale was particularly great, as you had bought him about 6 months previously for about £30million I think.
I remember one of my funny moments on that game is when Wes Brown seemed to pretty much die. I just noticed, that his condition would continue to go down every time I continued the game (without him appearing to be injured, and nothing could helped by physio reports) until it was actually at 0%. At which point, if he ever started a game, he would become injured after about 1 minute and have to come off.
