Yep - I also think it's ridiculous to point out the fact that NZ should cane India mainly because we earn more per capita than India.

He earns that amount of money now. How much do you reckon he or his parents earned when he was growing up, learning the game and punting on a career in the game? Financial security makes a lot of difference to how many people actually take up the game at any level.
