Still trying to figure out who Farhat is related to in Pakistan to still be in this team, is he really the best opening option around ? Butt needs to just picture everyone wearing a baggy green, he can't make runs against anyone else.

Adam Lyth at Yorkshire having a pretty decent season.

Lyth - 1221 @ 58.14 3 tons 8 fifties.
Carberry - 1041@61.23 5/2
Davies - 922@61.46 2/7

Not sure if that includes the most recent games.

Yeah, if you check the Ashes thread I was pushing Davies hard as the reserve wicket keeper on the basis he could easily do a job in the top 6 as a specialist bat IMO.

Keeper looks ok, anything is an improvement on Akmal, that idiot has no concept of improving his game like Prior did when he was dropped

Aye. Davies could easily fill 1 of 3 roles. Back-up keeper, back-up opener and back-up middle order bat. The ideal player to take on a tour AFAIC.

Not a great fan of pushing a keeper because of his batting first, what's his keeping like ?
