Scorecard Draft

Whatever it takes!!!
Superb pick HB!

I was hoping to fetch Greame but I knew he wont remain available by the time my turn comes...

Bradman @ No.3 and Pollock @ No.4 would have been awesome :D
Hammond and Pollock aren't that bad at 3 and 4, tbh.. And I had to decide between 5 ATG and I didn't even check the 2nd page of statsguru to see the rest of May's contemporaries. :)

Your middle order certainly is going to put hell lot of pressure on my future selections :p

Look at where GI Joe and KingKallis have been drawn so far in each round. I know we aren't playing for sheep stations but it'll be good if the randomanator starts becoming more random.
I was actually drawn at the arse end of this round by the randomizer, but had to twist it around to get you and Marc at the bottom :p

Thats a great pick, and with Hammond and Hadlee, along with a couple of bowlers with sub 20 bowling averages, you're in a great position. I really like the look of your team at this point (having tried to get Hadlee myself!).
There was this fast bowler with a sub 20 average as well, and not juz a medium pacer but a seriously quick bowler.. Was among the ones I was considering. But with juz 1 bowling slot left, I thought it was time to get in the batting order.

And thanks for the nice words. I did end up getting lucky with the 19th century picks. A sim would make things pretty interesting at the end of this draft.. ;)

Gotta say with Tendulkar, Ranji, Bates and Lillee you are not that far off from an awesome XI yourself. That is 3 ATGs in there and the other guy still has amazing stats. :)

My team so far-

W.G Grace

Wilfred Rhodes

Bobby Peel

Curtly Ambrose
Frank Tyson

All my players so far are good bowling options.

Haha no worries mate!

I bet as soon as I'm about to go on my short holiday it'll be my turn to pick!

Noble One

International Vice-Captain
Some pretty big selections in this round, some teams are looking mighty impressive already.

I'm resigning to the fact that my team will not appear all that flash on paper. Some selectors got lucky and had no picks in the arse end of cricketing history (i.e. pre 1920), where many others like myself had to make two selections from that time period.

You're too kind. Though I'm pretty happy with my side so far it must be said - I was hoping for either Ranji, Trumper or Grace to have one of the early legends of the game in my side and so was very happy to pick Ranji. Can't complain at all at my other two cricketing icons in Tendulkar and Lillee. Will be much happier selecting in later eras though having had two picks in the 1890s or early 1900s.
