Pak Owned! Against a good bowling attack which seems far better then the Australian all these batsmen are passengers....Ijaz Butt is such an a.hole.
Well, obviously doesn't explain the ****ing run out, but a tailender being done in by one that swings late is hardly stupid batting over the conditions.Yep certainly explains running out the last recognised batsman being run out and a tailender leaving a straight delivery first up after watching the same bowler take 3 previous wickets lbw and another bowled.
Yes, this explains the run out perfectly...How the conditions have turned! I bet those complaining about England's batting will think twice about complaining - but then, maybe not.
Bowling attack isnt all that, Swann is their best bowler and he hasnt even bowled yet. The conditions just suit Anderson perfectly. Also the variable bounce suits the 6 foot 7 dude.Pak Owned! Yasir Hameed is listed as a keeper on cricinfo, how is his keeping? The amount of runs Akmal has scored in test cricket are no where close to what the batsmen have scored that he either missed a stumping on or dropped an easy catch off.....Akmal should not be in the team period! His batting is **** his keeping is ****.
Scaly in "I'm such a happy chappy" horror shock. Jeez, England have a side 48 for 6 and have bowled superbly...(alright, admittedly against some not-all-that-great batting). Top stuff from Anderson and Finn, exploited the conditions and the pitch superbly.Yep certainly explains running out the last recognised batsman being run out and a tailender leaving a straight delivery first up after watching the same bowler take 3 previous wickets lbw and another bowled.
I can bet that Andy Flower won't be taking that point of view. As well as Asif bowled, and as challenging as the batting conditions have been, you can't be anything other than dissatisfied with 6/17, particularly given the Groundhog Day manner of dismissal. At least Swann was attempting to neutralise matters by batting outside his crease/using a full stride, but Anderson and Broad's dismissals were poor shots, and the rest of the dismissals hardly covered themselves in glory, either.Well, obviously doesn't explain the ****ing run out, but a tailender being done in by one that swings late is hardly stupid batting over the conditions.
Sooo me last seaonhasn't got his weight transfer right and looped up a simple catch close in. It isn't unlucky, it's rank bad batting, his own fault and he shouldn't be doing it.
News to me...is he the back up keeper for Pak on this series...? If so then then i am not surprised at the **** head the Ijaz Butt is.Yasir Hameed is listed as a keeper on cricinfo, how is his keeping?
I think bowling is still more important, although the trouble with Pakistan is they only have two very good bowlers. And their strength (particularly Asif) is also the weakness of the batsmen. So if the bowlers are doing very well then the batsmen are likely going to be cannon fodder. You need an Aamer friendly pitch, but one that is still pretty good to bat on.In reality Pak lost this game yesterday after their seamers ran out of steam in the evening, fine comeback earlier today but making Pak chase anything over 250 puts them in trouble like we're witnessing right now, hate to mention it again but just like with SA against our lot if you don't take full advantage when you have the top sides in trouble you are gonna pay for it, and that seems to be whats happening now, imo a side with a few decent stars in both the batting and bowling departments has a better chance of winning than a side with an electric bowling unit and nothing else.
Hameed isn't in the tour party - Zulqarnain Haider is the back-up keeper.News to me...is he the back up keeper for Pak on this series...? If so then then i am not surprised at the **** head the Ijaz Butt is.
Won't get conditions like this in Australia though so despite the fact we have the better side all is not lost for Australia.Jeeez, Australia must be sweating now!
Bring on the ASHES! Ricky P. easily can be the ONLY Aussie skipper to have lost 3 Ashes
Oh really? I seem to remember seeing Hameed in the tour party for the Australia series and don't recall him being sent home. Must have been an error either with cricinfo or my memory.Hameed isn't in the tour party - Zulqarnain Haider is the back-up keeper.
