*Official* Pakistan in England 2010

Nice follow up there. Called it 3 minutes a go on another forum that Aamer would pick up Cook, and Aamer duly delivers. Looked in awful knick Cook.

Terrible shot from Cook.
Terrible innings. But he's not been helped by a diet of 2020 until last week's four-day game for Essex. Joke of a system nowadays.

To which you could add that Cook' FC games prior to the domestic 2020 stuff were against Bangladesh. No wonder he's in no sort of nick against these guys.

Late but  Akmal. My god he's hopeless. Pakistan will not go anyway with a keeper like him in the team.

Gee they're talking some crap on TMS. Apparently Cook's place is in doubt because he struggled against these guys, despite playing hardly any FC cricket worthy of the name this season and despite his performances in SA, which they seem to have completely forgotten. And apparently Trott should be considered as the opener to replace him, despite his best test innings being played at number 5, despite him not opening for his county and despite that then leaving a gap at number 3.

Umar Gul's not a bad test bowler by any means but the opening combination of Asif and Amir really does make him look ordinary.

He is bowling pretty all over the place, atm, though.
It looks as though he's coming right now though. He didn't look to confindent when he first came on today but he seems to be running in and hitting the crease a lot harder now.

Edit: And then he bowls short and wide to Andrew Struass

Yeah, was just about to post that, he is bowling okay now. That wide one wasn't too bad a delivery, either. Zero no balls from Gul, atm, which is a good sign. It is weird that Amir, the youngest and least experienced, is the one who seems to have no balls fully sorted, as he lands with his toe on the line - the most desirable position.
