Nope.. that is what makes this worse. that I m not watching the game..


But yeah, he has always been one who plays that way. My surprise is more at the fact that he missed it, tbh. Must have been either been a pretty special delivery to beat him like that or a really silly mindless heave..

What you mean you have never heard of him? has played few ODIs now.. anyhow tall classical finger spinner.. its been a pleasure watching this spell.. Sehwag did heave at it but also must credit the bowler for tossing it up since it was his 1st delivery for the day.

I am watching it and Randiv is getting drift, turn and bounce.. Mendis has been very accurate, the lankan faster bowlers bowled to a plan of restriction and the wickets were the fruits of their labour

Watched the highlights of the first 2 days and whilst it is obviously a very good batting wicket, it was hard to tell just how good as, from what I saw, the Indian bowlers were just rolling their arm over

He came right out of the crease to meet the ball. Sehwag didn't expect the top spinner that went straight on as the first ball.

This is the way it is now even in the 21st century with Internet. That's why we always expect "WTF who is that?" most of the time when we speak about our players of 90s. Randiv possibly the best ODI spinner ATM behind Vettori and Harbhajan.

I must say, those wicket didn't fall out of the sky all at once. The Lankan bowlers were creating a few chances for a while. Good show by them!

Yet, this is still a fair batting track, imho. Any chance of proper pitch detoriation on day 4 or 5?

But the only other teams he's faced are Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Even when you take India out, his average is 26.85 - a full run higher than Swann's, for instance.
